Terms and Conditions (1 January 2007)
The information below is intended to outline the business terms and conditions of Imagine Photography.
Session fee: Pays for time and artistic vision, travel and photo processing only. The session fee may be incorporated into the price of a package or special offer or waived all together. Please check the website for details.
Your session fee includes:
· An initial consultation via phone, email, or in person;
· Up to 2 hours of coverage on your session date;
· Post-session image preparation; which averages about four to five hours per session;
· A preview session appointment for ordering purposes;
· Robyn Mayne’s personal consultation with the professional lab to achieve the highest-quality images to present to you.
» Print prices are separate from session fees.
Please note that the price list published on the website is current at the time of booking and is locked for your session, however this price list, including special offers and packages, is subject to change over time.
Retainer policy: A non-refundable retainer for your session is due within five days of booking your appointment. This guarantees the time and date allotted for you. Should payment not be received in this time frame, Robyn reserves the right to offer the date and time to another client.
Re-shoots: Re-shoots are at the discretion of the photographer and are not given for regretful personal choices such as hair and clothing choices.
Under the weather: If your child is feeling ill, please call to reschedule. If you must cancel, please try to do so at least 48 hours before your session.
Bad weather: In the event of bad weather, Robyn will call to discuss options. The session may be rescheduled or moved to an indoors location.
Travel fee: Imagine Photography reserves the right to charge an additional travel fee for locations 30 kilometers or more from Sydney CBD.
Proofing session: Images will be available 7-14 days after your photo session and will be presented to you at a proofing session. If at this time you make your portrait selection, and place your order, you will receive a 10% discount.
Deposit and payment: A deposit payment of 25% of the value of the order must be paid when you place the order. Payment of the balance is required on delivery of your prints.
Payment options: Imagine Photography accepts cash and cheques or direct deposit.
Personal cheques: Cheques returned by the bank, for any reason, will be charged a $35.00 service charge and all orders will be cancelled if they are not paid in full within three days of notification.
Online gallery: For those previewing and ordering from the online gallery, your gallery expires within two weeks. It is highly recommended that you make your purchasing decisions within this time frame. If you would like to re-publish your gallery, there is a $45 fee.
Retouching: Any retouching beyond the basic retouching I automatically do (small facial scars, blemishes, eye circles) will be charged a fee of $50 per hour. This includes braces, removal of logos/words on shirts, etc.
Final prints: Your final print order will be delivered approximately 2-3 weeks after your order has been placed. Canvases, cards and framed portraits may take up to 4-6 weeks. Robyn will contact you by phone or email in order to set up a convenient time for your images to be delivered.
Rush jobs: If you require your order in less than the time stated above, a 25% surcharge may be charge.
Portrait care: Handle your portraits with extreme care. Damage incurred as a result of improper handling, framing or hanging is the responsibility of the client.
Reprints: All proofed images will be kept on file for one year after your initial order. You are welcome to place a re-print order from these images. See above for costs associated with re-hosting your online gallery.
Copyright: Australian Copyright Law protects copyright. It is unlawful to copy or scan any images without permission of the photographer. Even though the pictures may be of you or your child, the photographer still owns the copyright to the image.
In order to control the quality of the work produced, the photographer is the only one who can crop, modify or order any image produced at this photo session.
Clients may not reproduce any images produced by the photographer for any purpose. Likewise, clients cannot authorise any reproductions of the images for commercial use, personal use, for photographic competition or display.
